Aldersgate Day is a commemorative day celebrated by Methodist Christians on 24 May or the nearest Sunday. It recalls the day in 1738 when Church of England priest John Wesley attended a group meeting in Aldersgate, London, where he received an experience of assurance of his salvation. We are new to the community and were looking for a Gospel centered church in our community. So many... people in our neighborhood recommended 24 church. One day a lady showed up at our door to welcome us to the community and while getting to know each other she mentioned she attended 24 Church and what a wonderful place of worship it was.
